I want to make sure we’re a good fit to work together from the start.
That means being upfront about rates, payment timelines, and how retainers and flat-rate projects work. Here’s what you can expect.
Hourly Retainers
Rate: $40/hour
Minimum Purchase: 10 hours (retainers do not expire)
If a retainer extends past one month, you’ll receive a monthly report showing hours used and remaining. You can request an update at any time.
I’ll notify you when your retainer reaches 2 hours remaining and send an invoice for a new 10-hour block.
If a retainer runs out of hours, all work pauses until payment for the next block is received. Waiting to renew will delay project timelines.
Invoices must be paid within 3 days to keep your spot and scheduled timeline.
Flat-Rate Projects
Websites and Etsy Consultations are flat-rate only.
Each project must have a solid, well-defined scope before work begins.
Payment Schedule: 50% upfront, 50% at the halfway mark (after the first review).
Additional work outside the agreed scope will be quoted, approved, and paid before it’s completed.
Work will not resume after the halfway review until the second invoice is paid.
Invoices must be paid within 3 days to hold your spot and timeline.
Scheduling Notes
My schedule is often booked in advance, and it’s rare that I can commit to same-day tasks. I generally require a few days to a week of notice for new work requests. Please plan ahead to avoid delays in timelines or challenges with deadlines.
For larger projects:
Websites can take up to one month to complete.
Etsy consultations require about one week for research and preparation.
To ensure a smooth process, please reach out as soon as you know you’d like to work together so we can confirm my availability before you commit. While I always do my best to accommodate client needs, I work with a variety of clients and cannot guarantee schedule openings — especially for last-minute requests.
Cancellations & Refunds
Before work begins: 25% cancellation fee.
After work begins: No refunds.
